Mike recently recorded vocals for a Nebraska Lottery commercial! Trucks and Bucks is a Nebraska Lottery scratch ticket in which the grand prize is a 2010 Ford F-150! Mike was approached by super composer Steve Horner (www.hornermusic.com) to lend his vocals for the track "Drive Through", that is now being aired statewide in Nebraska. We are proud to announce that Mike has just signed a 2-year exclusive deal for his album "Lights", with California based North Star Media!

NSM controls a boutique catalogue of songs and master recordings of both platinum artists and indie artists for licensing to television, movies and commercials. NSM is responsible for providing music for some of the biggest TV shows and commercials out there. Clients include Honda, American Idol, Verizon and GAP to name a few.

Aside from Mike and the few other indie artists on their roster, NSM controls master recordings for some well-known artists including Bonnie Raitt, Rod Stewart, Collective Soul, Phil Vassar and Butch Walker.

On August 25, Mike will be taping the TV show "Backstage" for the Comcast channel CN8. "Backstage" is a Boston-based entertainment television program that airs Monday-Friday from 8:00-9:00pm ET on The Comcast Network, CN8 reaching 11 million homes between Maine and Virginia including: Boston, Hartford, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Washington DC, Richmond, VA and
including most of the states of New Jersey and Delaware.

The program covers all facets of the entertainment world and provides news and stories about everything Hollywood as well as the latest buzz from the music industry. "Backstage" has hosted a variety of artists including: Barenaked Ladies, Gavin DeGraw, Train, Lifehouse, Katie Melhua, Spin Doctors, OK GO, Sister Hazel, The Proclaimers, The Jonas Brothers, Ferras, The Last Goodnight, Pat Monahan, The Kin, Bruce Hornsby, Leigh Nash and Rooney to name a few.

Dates have just been confirmed for Mike to record a six song EP starting at the beginning of January! Producing the EP will be Anthony Resta, who has worked with Collective Soul, Duran Duran and Sarah McLaughlin to name a few. Recording should wrap up at the beginning of February with a release date of early spring. Stay tuned for video blogs on Mike's My Space page that will document the recording process!!!
